I got samples from her and my dogs loved it, but I have an older dog that is 16 years old and I try to keep the protein low for her. Where do you get yours from, maybe you can ask them about it. My girls and I really liked FFR. Yes liked. Unfortunately, we had to switch foods for medical reasons. They may be more expensive if you consider the size of the bag, BUT.. you give them so much less. With FFR I gave my 10 pounder 1/4 A DAY! 1/8 cup for the 4 pounder!
I really liked the ingrediants and the way they are made. They had the dry puppy/adult formula.
Only drawback is storage. Because of the way they are made they are perishable. I keep their food in the fridge and buy the smallest bag possible to keep it fresh.
Hope this helps. I'd go back in a minute if I could.
