For year round allergies, your choices are usually: OTC antihistamines, Temaril-P, Atopic, Apoquel, or allergy testing and desensitization
For seasonal allergies (certain pollens etc), you usually use: OTC antihists. Temaril P, steroids
Vet derms usually recommend allergy dog be on a fish oil as it's anti-inflammatory. I like Ark Naturals, as I like the way it's formulated. | I'm reading over different threads about allergies. i came across this one. when your Wylie gets Pyoderma do you take him in to the vet every time or is there something you can do for him without taking him in? |
