Hi all...

Thanks for your replies. I decided to take the job. I do this because of 2 other things that "working" will help me with. One is that I might be able to refinance my mortgage next year (if all works out well) which is one of the reasons I decided to go to fulltime work. And he did say at the interview that there is a review every year. So if we are happy with each other I think it is nice to give him the benefit of starting me at a rate he feels is comfortable and if he does not make me cry at my yearly review then maybe he will bring me up a little closer to where I would like to be.

These employers know a lot of my past employers that I worked for a long time (on a subcontractor basis) pretty well so I am hoping that I will like these employers as much as my old employers (whew). And if I do it may be worth the risk of taking less to start.

The only real drawback is that I will have about a 45 min to an hour commute each way (bedsides the expense) and that will take time from the furbutts. BUt I am hoping to only work 3 more years fulltime then go part time. And the furbutts do cost money to keep them healthy so I guess/ hope maybe the risk will work for that best.

But anyho thanks again for sharing your thoughts...I always come here to get unconfused, lol.
