Oh my, that is horrifying! I'm glad to hear your baby is okay and avoided being attacked. It is always a fear I have when I'm out and about with my Sophie and we come across big dogs. Most owners give their assurance their dog is friendly, but you just never know!

Sophie did get lunged at once a few years back at an outdoor mall by a leashed medium sized dog. The owner, too, lost grip of her dog's leash and she was inches from biting Sophie. I was extremely grateful for Sophie's Buddy Belt b/c my mom (who was walking her at the time) was able to swoop her up quickly with her leash and she didn't get injured. Yay for Buddy Belts!
