He is very small (as most Yorkie pups are) and I would not leave him home unattended for at least a couple weeks so that you can be sure hypoglycemia etc...are all NOT a problem. They are fragile pups and even the healthiest pup, if having a problem, can run in to major issues quickly! Just as a precaution be uber careful for a little while!

Good luck and Saturday or Friday evening is perfect. Friday evening you could just spend some cuddle time on the couch with your new little guy and then start a fresh new day on Saturday! Ready, set...goooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
