My Luci was a Re-home. A YT Member posted about her neighbor needing to re-home his little girl. I took her in May of 2012.
I have also had 5 others that we had adopted from Rescue Groups that have since passed. Most the ones we have adopted have been older. | Quote:

The owner asked them to sign Lily over to us instead of euthanizing her and she did the surgery. She was originally going to be sent to a rescue after she was healed but she's absolutely terrified of men so it would've made finding her a home difficult. She lived at the clinic for almost a year before I finally gave in (I already had 7 other dogs) and brought her home. I'm pretty sure she has been abused. Along with being afraid of men, you can't make any sudden moves around her, especially if you have anything in your hand, or she cries and runs away. She HATES the remote control to the TV. I've finally after all this time got her to, once in a while, take food from my hand. She has her issues, but she's a sweet girl and I love her to death. | I tried to quote everyone that posted but I guess the forum only allows 3 quotes to a post. Didn't mean to leave you out
