The only time I have ever placed a yorkie NOT of my breeding was if the puppy fell apart and could not be used in my program.. If you are a breeder who loves the breed and breeds to the AKC standard you never breed genetic defects into your dogs.. example, Liver Shunt, Luxating Patellas, Collapsed tracheas, hernias, etc.. The only point I was trying to get accross was there are times a reputable breeder or reputable show breeder places a dog not of their breeding that does not fit into their program and needs to be strictly in a pet home and that does NOT classify them as a broker..
