Honestly, there is really very rarely going to be a time where he will be at home by himself. Our favorite adult hang out (ahem...bar, lol) is super dog friendly, so he will even be able to come out with us sometimes when we get a sitter for the kids. I understand mine has never been left alone but I live with my grandparents so they watch her when I need to go the doctor or anything. I am disabled so unable to have a job. Callie had knee surgery and had to stay over night at the vet hospital and has had to stay in a play pen on crate rest for 8 weeks.
