Martin, did your vet get a urine specimen? If not, When she pees and poops on the floor I would get a specimen of each in a jar or plastic bag and take it to the vet.
I know you find it upsetting that she snapped at you but she may be in a little pain. She has had major surgery and some days the pain if uncomfortable just as in humans. The discomfort after surgery seems to be worse on damp and rainy days.
Call your vet and make him aware of what is going on and if Boris's twin is there make sure you talk to the vet.
