oh on the teething be careful of the edible dental chew things and also greenies. They can cause havoc on the pups digestive system let alone cause blockage and choking. When Lola was about 5 months old I had to do a lot of gardening, so I brought her crate outside and thinking I was doing keeping her away from the wood chips, dirt and rocks. To keep her occupied I gave her a large size hard to chew dental type thing. She had it gone in record time, I could not believe she ate it so quickly I looked all around the outside of the cage thinking she could not possibly have finished it. That night for the first time she woke up in her crate barking and crying, oh my her and her cage was a mess from runny stool. For the following week we were in and out of vets offices trying to get it to stop, she got to the point she was scared stiff to go #2 because she was so inflamed and in pain from the constant runny stools. Thankfully it cleared up, with not lasting effects, except LOL she still is very cautious of her butt. I have also had a few friends that had this happen with their pups. I swear there is so much to know that I wonder how I ever survived the puppy stage and LOL Lola is my 5th yorkie!
