My ZoE has extremely slow growing hair. She's three years old, and I finally gave up on her growing the beautiful floor length yorkie coat that I love, so I trimmed her. Then it just looked a shaggy mess, so I buzzed her!
I was surprised about four weeks later, when I was giving her her weekly bath, to notice how quickly it had grown, so I buzzed her again. My point is, while it seems to take forever to add additional length to a long coat, it goes from basically nothing to quite a bit of short hair, rather quickly.
