I have a rescue with Demodex, and with in 2 1/2 months he got his first clear hairpluck/skin scrape; fingers crossed for this week we go in for hopefully our second clear. My foster is also on Ivermectin, although I do oral liquid for him. When I received him he had one patch (mild) on right rear haunch and both eyes were affected.

This has worked for us, along with good food, 2x monthly baths(gentle shampoo), eye washes(just to keep the eye area clean along with some meds for his eye condition).

While puppies that have an undeveloped immune system do usually contract this from the Mother, in older dogs it is thought that their immune system is depressed.

Good luck with your puppy
