So weird! And to have to go through all those new GFCIs just to find one that works, ugh. Well, we figured out a work around for now...if we take our 3-pole plug and convert it into a 2-pole plug by using an adaptor, the machine does *not* blow the GFCI. SO, it's indeed something with the machine and not the GFCI (we also tried a different GFCI outlet in another location, which the machine blew). Of course, to fix this particular espresso machine - it has to be sent to the manufacturer at a cost of $300. NICE.
