Is it selfish of me to keep her or should I give her to someone who can spend more time with her? |
It seems like she is doing well with the arrangements you have made for her. In a way she is a traveller too, and seems to have adjusted well to her situation.
I don't believe it is selfish of you to keep her, given that she seems to do so very well in her temporary situations. It certainly is not selfish of you to give serious thought to her well-being!!!
You are her primary love, and you and she have been together for 5 years, and you obviously love her very much. Why break up this love affair? Yes you travel, but you always come home to her, and I believe that some part of her knows this.
Only you can determine what is best for your gal. You are the one that knows her best. Let your heart and mind guide you, and not guilt about having to leave her from time to time.
Because you posted this, I think that some part of you has been questioning this lifestyle you have and the dog you love. I can't give you answers or black and white solutions. I do trust that you know the best answer, it is with-in you.
All the best
