My Brandy is almost 5. I am now traveling often and leave her with different friends and family members depending on who is available at the time. They all love her and she loves them. I know she is in great care and don't worry about her when I am away. I usually will travel a week or two every other month on average, but when I am home, I am with her 24/7. Last year I left her for a 2 month period of time and she seemed to have no problems. I am going to be traveling again in a few weeks and will be gone for 6 weeks. The friends who will watch her adore her and will take great care of her. Another friend of mine is of the opinion that I should give her to these friends permanently as I travel so much. I am heartbroken at the thought. Is it selfish of me to keep her or should I give her to someone who can spend more time with her?
