The GFCI is there to protect you and your equipment. It has already done that. The fact that it does not trip with other things, but does with your machine indicates that the GFCI is working and your machine has an electrical fault....
But see, the machine does fine in any other GFCI outlet..it's just at this one outlet that a problem suddenly started. I cannot figure it out!

The wiring is correct on the new one we just put in, so it's not that...but thanks for those who suggested checking that.
