Aw, poor guy...too bad he didn't gain a little more but no worries - your TLC will get him there, I'm sure of it !

I would feed calorie dense treats of things like little bits of cheese and little globs of peanut butter.

I think Pam has an excellent idea of giving him some Nutrical 2x a day too - even though he's not a puppy. Nutrical is calorie dense and this is what you're looking for.

You could also add some wet food to his kibble.
