Thank you everyone. She is definitely worth the chaos and money spent at the vet. She is doing better today - a little hesitant to eat, but she ended up eating a little rice and the new kibble we were trying to slowly switch her over to. She hasn't had any bowel movements yet, so I am hoping when she does it is normal. She is also pretty quiet today, but I don't blame her, throwing up when you're sick is bad enough but being given medicine to force it and then being dopey from it is probably very stressful. I woke up with a sore throat today, so we have spent the day cuddling in bed

Good job on taking such great care of your little one!
I didn't even think about that! My dad's dog had that when he was a puppy and it took a few tests before we got a positive result. When our regular vet opens on Wednesday I will ask to bring in a new sample and have them run it again.

I don't know why I am nervous still about those blood results, the most recent ones came back normal so I know she's doing okay, sick dogs is just really scary!
