Adorable! I love her summer cut.
Definitely try having her stand when you put the harness on. Also do the combing/brushing first.
Right after my boys have had a bath and their hair hangs right, the hair falls perfectly into place with the harness. As we get closer to bath day, and I start brushing less out of laziness, then there is a little more poof to deal with. I force myself to comb out the front end for the harness.
