[muppypuppy]

I adopted my yorkie about 4 months ago when she was already 8 months old. The family couldnt keep her anymore. She was not trained at all! We started from scratch, and now, she's amazing, has come a long way. She is potty and crate trained with only a few accidents, isnt afraid of the car anymore, is on a great diet, she socialized fine, is extremely loving and friendly, she is confident and assured, but it seems, she suddenly and for no apparant reason decided she HATES her crate! She just suddenly started destroying it, and everything in it. She gets so covered in lint and shreds from her puppy pad, that the water she dumped creates a kind of 'glue' that is just impossible to remove from her hair! She gets herself so worked up that she vomits in there. Now I do not believe this is separation anxiety, because when we leave her alone in the house she is perfect. I really believe she just does not want to be in that crate. And she's not in there for long periods. Last night it was only 2 hours, and if it is longer, my neighbor goes over to take her out, walk her and make sure she's ok. Does anyone have any experience with this? I hate to give in to her, but Im tired of cleaning up this disaster!
