I am happy to hear everything went well! 3 to 4 year olds, oh my, that is a challenge. I think only one little incident means it was a great success.
I agree with Sandy that this is a great way to help introduce children to how to behave appropriately with a dog.
I'm always really nervous letting little kids pet Max because they want to rub on top of his head in circles, LOL. I have to demonstrate for them how to pet.
