Waffles actually prefers the snow to the rain. We shovel a "runway" around the yard for him. One issue is he wants to jump into the deep snow, luckily we always have him on a lease so we can keep him from going too far
The main thing is to keep a close eye that your little pup doesn't get too cold while she's wondering around in the snow.
