I honestly think it hurts us more than it does them. George was a bit slower to adjust to being blind than Gizmo and when he would run into things at first, it just killed me. In the end, though, he did learn and he did just fine. You would have had to see George in action to fully understand...he really did rule the roost. He knew what he wanted and when he wanted it and made sure I knew it.
