My friend found a liver shunt group on yahoo groups that gave her loads of support for her little guy. She went to the OVC got an appointment, they sedated him had CT and MRI done and when the vets located the shunt they repaired it right away and he is doing excellently. He has been on meds for a bit, slowly weaning off and she is making home made foods and slowly introducing proteins again under the guidance of her vet. |
