Do you Pad train or train for outside? How successful is it? What climate do you have.

I'm in Michigan but i do have an attached garage where she can go when it's cold.

Oh, what to do? LOL

Thank you.
I have 4 pound pup who is 5 months old. I decided to train her to go outside which is nice right now, but when winter hits I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I live in Wisconsin. I kinda wish I would have pad trained her because now that she is fully potty trained to go outside I know it will be hard to retrain her to go inside. I personally think outside training would be easier (only took about a week) because they have a large area to go on and you can stay outside and let them sniff around until they go, where pad training they only have one little spot to go on and you can really hold them there until they go. But once the snow hits, that will be a different story. Good luck with whatever you choose.
