I looked up the list of laws for the various states concerning leaving pets in a hot car. Was very sad to see the number of states that have no law on the books at all!

People who live in states that do have laws should do all they can to inform the management of department stores and shopping plazas about the law and how they can help to make sure no animal dies in their parking lot.

Always having the number of your local humane organization and police handy may help save some poor animal from suffering at the hands of these fools.

I'm sure most of these people who put these animals through so much suffering would all claim to care about their pets. After all, the dog loves to ride in the car, right? There is no law that regulates common sense so people who are able to help those who cannot speak for themselves need to be loud and clear about the subject.

We live in a time where respect for any kind of life is dwindling but there are still many out there that will speak up to stop the suffering of animals.
