Wow. sooo sorry to hear about all this run around you are going through. My vet has visiting hours from 1PM to 5PM. they encourage you to come and visit your baby. Lucky for me my vet is a 24/7 365 day clinic, but do have set visiting hours. So happy to hear that you will visit lil Zoey, remember as hard as it will be, be anxiety free, if you don't Zoey will pick up on this and add to her stress, put on your happy face and, and do a lil happy dance when you first see her, vets know we are nuts, so happy dance will not be something new to them, well they know you are nuts if you asked to sleep in cage under her lol. to funny. Keeping Zoey in my thoughts and prayers today, and for you as well. See if they will allow you to remove her from cage and take her to your car or a pvt. place where you can spend pvt time with her to kiss and love her up. My vet said it was ok to remove her IV and ok to take her out. See if your vet will allow you to do this.
