I wrote that I agreed with you that a pure breed, well bred Yorkie puppy in NY would cost much more than $600.
The price of one would be much higher than $1,000 to $1,200 in New England. They are usually over $2,000.
Elsewhere, a show breeder will often charge $1,800 for girls and $1,600 for boys.
It is possible to find good prices from good breeders if a person is patient and shops around. Max was reduced in price because he was larger than his littermates, larger than standard.
However, when the price is ridiculously low, the breeder is cutting corners. No one would operate at a substantial financial loss to produce Yorkie puppies.
