They say as a form of abuse ignoring is worse than bullying, as it's as if you don't exist or matter. You're so beneath the person, you don't even rate being spoken too. I grew up in a home where an adult family member never spoke to me for years, it's is very abusive. So I understand why it stayed with you and annoyed you. It's so rude.
