I would never hesitate to call and report a dog no matter how large, old left in a car. In FL it only takes about 5-8 minutes for the car temp to get over 90 degrees. I would love to have them sit in a hot car for ten minutes without air running and the windows shut just so they could experience what a dog or pup goes through. Oh, and they should have to put on a fur coat before doing it!! They should be arrested on the spot I think. Leave your pet at home - you are not doing them any favors by taking them with you. NOW, during the winter months that's a different thing (I'm talking FL now - fifty degrees). We take our pets for rides in the car but not to run errands unless on a cold day.
