My yorkie, Ted, needs a harness for long walks because he tends to pull on the leash and chokes himself. I use his collar/lead any time I walk him outside. I don't keep his collar on when he's in the house because it causes his fur to matt around his neck. My favorite collars are LUPINE. They have lifetime guarentees if they ever get damaged or chewed. They have small dog and large dog collars along with leashes and harnesses to match!
