I take mine to a groomer because I am terrified of clipping their nails. I've taken them to 2 different groomers. When calling to make the initial appointments I asked up front if I could stay to watch. If they say no, my pups don't go. The groomer I use now is great. Her shop has a big window out front so I can sit in my car and watch. Yes, I feel like a stalker but hey, my babies are in there. She is very patient. When Barney would do his spaghetti noodle stance and go limp, she would gently pick him up and keep going.
