Well good thing is most of our plants we bought a Lowes or Home Depot. They have a one year guarantee on dead plants, no questions asked. We bought 4 firecracker plants (hummingbird bush). We love hummingbirds and butterflies. These are supposed to attract them. We have two in the yard, and two up top. The two up top died almost immediately, and it wasn't even that hot. The two in the yard have been planted and are getting over the initial shock. They grow fast. But the ones up top are dead, crunchy dead.

Also my herbs in my windowsills. Some keep dying, some do well. I've moved the more delicate ones to morning sun only but still it looks like the sun light is burning the leaves. Interestingly enough, I have a French Tarragon in the afternoon sun window, and the Texas tarragon in the morning sun window. They said the TX one is more hearty to the heat. Guess which one died. LOL The TX one! The French one is doing well.

All my tomato seedlings died, so did my eggplant and cucumber. I think it's too late to put new ones in anyway, bc the dang patio guys are so slow!

We moved in early March. We started this early April but the HOA was dragging their feet for our approval. Took over a month to get an approval. Now it's end of May already and still about another week out it looks like. We have plants everywhere waiting to get put in.
