^^ Not doing things on schedule is one of the things I hate about hiring other people to do house/yard projects. I too hate to see plants die. Can you put them in the backyard while you are waiting?
Blue subway tile -- I need my bathroom done in these now! White would be better for re-sale though. I wish had tiling skills.
