The 8 weeks crate rest is very normal from what I understand. After a certain time period and when the incision heals she will start physical therapy. I guess it's not 100% per say crate rest slowly she will do more walking every week but she won't be able to just run around the house or really run at all until those 8 weeks are up. This is how it was last time and he said it would be the same recovery period as last time. After she is cleared for physical therapy I plan to put her in a pen that gives her just a slight more room where she can lay on the dog bed or on the floor. Is the Valium for me or her? Lol
