Trifexis and ProHeart 6 have not been linked to cause liver toxicity or failure and are both safe to give in liver compromised patients.

Trifexis is a great all in one product, but it does not provide any tick prevention. If you use trifexis, you will still need something with a tick preventative such as frontline.

Not only do I not like it, I think it is horrible advice for a pup that has been as sick as Piper has been.

I would not give it to mine. AND, I would probably write back and give him some information that is posted on the websites of the companies; and ask him why he thinks it is safe and they don't.
