I think a key word here might be consistency. Calleigh doesn't like her teeth brushed. It is something she has to deal with. She doesn't thrash around, but she won't sit down either. Just keep trying and let her know you are the boss. This may sound silly, but I let her watch me brush my teeth. She knows lot of words, so I think she understands.
I also tell her the doctor will have to brush. She knows about the vet. Lol! She's had her teeth cleaned there several times before.
