Yes, they did several x-rays and said they saw what appeared to be an old injury of the ligament and as there was not any swelling or inflammation in the area, they were sure this was not a new injury. He had a similar issue a month ago on the other leg, that wasn't as severe and he was walking fine the next day. I took him to the vet anyway and they said at that time it was neurological based on the tests of paw positioning and he did not correct the flipped paw on his back, right leg. This time it is his left leg and it kind of flops around when he walks. It has been several days now and he has started using the leg more and more. I have even been doing some massage on the leg. It doesn't feel any different than the other leg and he doesn't show any signs of pain when I am massaging either leg. The vet keeps trying to get me to bring him in for a $2K surgery. I am really disappointed in their approach to treatment.
