I am itching to pull up all our carpet and do hardwood. I like to do things myself, so right now, time (and $) are keeping me from doing it.
I also want to take our existing deck out and replace it with a newer, nicer, bigger one. I love being outdoors, and want an oasis, but right now it's not very oasis-y.
My son and I are redoing the walls in the living room to look like a log cabin. It's a slow process, but when it's all done, it will be worth it. (I love my power tools!!). My interior is very rustic/lodge like, and this is what we're doing to the walls. Before, they were just white Sheetrock. This is my entry, where you first come in my front door:
