We are in the middle of Mitzi's first REAL storm today. We have the kind of thunder that shakes all your windows and pops your ear drums.
The good news is that she doesn't seem particularly bothered (while I am typing from under the bed
). At the moment she is "wiping off" on my bed, after being out in the rain, playing soccer (her daily sporting activity). And seems very curious about the whole loud clapping of thunder bit. I wish I was as brave as she is!!
The other good news is that she finally will go out in the rain. We were already outside when it began, so I don't know if that is why she didn't care, but YeeeHaaaaaawwww!!!
