I'm not sure which blade she's using in the vid, but she's going against the grain, w/the blade backwards. That means it's a closer shave & cuts twice as short. I def do not like that 'shaved' looked, I always use a #5F or #4F on Turbo. I don't like the braided back, I think it would be high maintenance look, but it is neat! I do like the cut she did for the back of the head, something I might try.

Teri, that article was interesting! I didn't know that their hair insulates them from the heat...there are many pet owners that shave their Huskies or Persian cats down just to keep them from shedding. It might be doing more harm than good! I did notice that Momo feels like a hot potato since I shaved him down. I better leave some more hair on him next time.

Well, the hot weather is gone & it's supposed to be cooler the next few days...will decide later whether or not to cut Turbo's hair. I'll probably trim his facial hair/ beard, skirt & go from there. Thank you everyone!
