Mitzi chews on everything too!! She isn't as bad as she was, because these days she has a few favorite toys. If I catch her chewing things she's not supposed to, I tell her NO, and swap it for one of her toys. It worked, because now, she goes more for her own things and not so much for other stuff.
I also wash my poochies eyes with warm water every morning and sometimes in the evening if she is getting runny again.
