[Wallee]

Good morning everyone

Today I am here looking for some training tips. As most of you know, I recently adopted Summer a retired breeding dog. She has not really enjoyed the lavish lifestyle that our pups have had, but is gradually trying to fit in. I have started trying to teach her to sit when giving treats. I first tried what I did with Wallee as a puppy (and he was so eager to learn) and she just kept jumping up and grabbing the treat from in front of her nose. I then tried doing it with a closed hand and the treat in there, but she just keeps backing up when I try to move my hand over her head.
Any ideas?
