Yeah, with so many people breeding Yorkies these days -- many of whom should not be breeding -- it's easy for them to get large or out of standard. While the 'standard' is 7lbs or less, weight alone does not determine whether a dog is purebred.
My boy is 17lbs, lol... oh I see your in MD too! Yay for another Maryland "teapot" Yorkie. hehe.
