I've just read up to this point while I have been thinking of this part of it since it was posted. I am not a breeder either so I wanted to withhold what I thought.
We are so used to being honest that it is sometimes difficult to see what goes on in the mind of one that is not.
They are concerned about the sale and only that. If the pup turns out to be a good deal larger and with many health problems, it bothers them not, they are out for a quick sale and it's so easy for a new pet owner to fall for their story. Do they educate as to how too small can have gigantic problems associated with it through the pups life, of course not.
Yes as Maximo says, it does make sense and it makes me sick.
