Default Special thank you to Yorkiemom1

Just a quick rundown on what happened. My yorkie girl was approaching retirement age and I wanted to keep her line going. It was her second litter. The first was textbook. The 2nd one she had to have a C-section and only 1 pup survived. Mother's milk was very slow to come in and dried up fairly quickly. It was problem after problem trying to raise this pup with virtually no help from her mother. The pup was a very picky eater, got sick with vomiting/diarrhea and aspirated. I was told multiple times by the vet she wouldnt survive and there was nothing more she could do. She dehydrated more times than i could count. She had issues with formula and goats milk recipes. She bloated so bad she couldnt stand up. She had to be tube fed and receive enemas. She developed a urinary tract infection at 5 weeks. All of her issues came from the supplemental feedings--even the UTI. The vet said the pH in her urine was very high and to get off the formula/milk recipes ASAP. It was an intense and exhausting roller coaster ride.

Through these issues, I was desperate and at the end of my rope. I contacted yorkiemom1 for any ideas or suggestions. She was exactly what I needed. My confidence level was at an all time low. I second guessed everything that I thought I knew. Yorkiemom1 encouraged me and helped me so much. Sometimes new ideas and going down the checklist of the have you tried this and that is what you need to know your doing everything you can to save a life.

My baby girl is now 7 weeks old and just had another vet check. She's been given a clean bill of health. I want to thank yorkiemom1 from the bottom of my heart for the encouragement she gave me when I was losing all hope. I learned to never give up and try EVERYTHING. Thank you so much yorkiemom1.
