OMG!!! I'm having such a hard time of this. I know I have to give him a summer cut but I love his coat soooo much. I want him to enjoy himself outside and at our new lakehouse. His coat is just so much to take care of when he's romping in the leaves, grass and surely the water. It just kills me to do it but I did cut him last May and it grew back by November. So I thought I'd post a few pics of his coat. I guess It would be even better if I really took care of it like wrapping it and oils!!!!

BTW I think I'm going to leave the braid even though I'm cutting him down. It's kind of distinctive. Guess I'll have to see what that looks like. This job will probably take about a week of tweaking so I'll post again next week. Wish us luck!!!!
