 Digging
My 17 week old Yorkie started digging everything. I mean everything.....The couch is getting destroyed and the poor poor carpet. I am losing my mind with all the digging. I feel like I live with a cat.
I know it is in her nature to dig and I try everything to distract her from this what is becoming a bad habit. I can understand digging for a few minutes to "build a nest" but she will dig until there was a hole in the couch if I would allow her.
And one have any suggestions? Right now I have put a blanket down on the couch to save it, but I don't know what to do about the floor. I am thinking of creating a dig area for her and whenever she starts digging more her over to her "dig" space. This way I can focus her digging to a certain area. |
