I also read about Koda when I first found this site after Kramer's death and feel awful for you. I hope the pain is less now. It does seem to get a little easier with time. I still have bad times but am trying to remember Kramer in his happy times.
Will you get a new companion? You sound like such a loving owner and someone who gives a lot of yourself to your pet.
