I thought I was doing so well at watching Molly's diet. My husband and friends think Molly's weight gain is due to her growing. What do you all think is causing her weight gain, her growing or am I feeding her too much?
Puppies aren't really prone to overeating...they mainly just eat what their bodies need. She is just naturally growing in a normal way. She's only gained 3 pounds in 3 months, right? As an adult, my guess would be she will be 6-7ish pounds. The standard for yorkies is to be 7 pounds or less. If they are above that, they're considered outside the standard...but no less lovable !
